Telkoor Telecom: Improved financial results as Q1 2009 results published
Netanya, Israel. May 26, 2009 Telkoor Telecom (TASE: TLK) the global provider of power supplies, for military, industrial and telecom applications published today its Q1 2009 results. Sales, and Net Profit were better than those of the Q1 2008 results. Sales of Q1 2009 were $7.3 M ($6.7 M in Q1 2008) while Net profit was 2.9 M Shekel (2.5 M Shekel loss in Q1 2008).
“We are focusing on expanding our international and local activities while taking steps to further improve profitability. Several military programs development is about to be finalized and those programs sales potential is vast. Recently our company was granted orders for development of products for medical applications and for a new generation of fiber based video systems” said Ben-Zion Diamant, CEO of Telkoor. “Shekel Dollar exchange rate changes improved the profitability of the Israel based business”.
